Latest News!

The latest news is very simple. I'm adding more and more summer concerts, working on my 8th studio album, producing what is set to be a stunning rock album by the band Juliet Echo. An exciting new sponsorship is coming my way, that I will reveal soon! As many of you are aware, I have a new band called Lyric & The Hunter. We are working on 2 new singles and a video for the first single to be released called "Always Wrong"

My current status;

NEED AN UPDATE? here it is. My life is always filled with musical accomplishments as most of you know. My creativity comes from moments in life that are either taxing or simply inspiring to write about good or bad.
quick thought:
Not everyone knows this but I have a son that was born Feb 16, 2008. His name is Lyric Michael Borgia. I admit at the time, I was scared. I thought it would ruin by musical career and force me into dull and vacuous domestication, but once you experience a life that was created by you, it makes it impossible to neglect. Your life changes for the better and you work out a different plan to continue your career and make a child happy at the same time. So for all the new mothers and fathers out there, don't sweat it! it's not what you think, unless you allow yourself to fall into the stereotype that is.

more music news: I've recorded a lot of albums over the years, some see the light of day and some sit in the archives hoping someday they will surface and grace your Mike Borgia play lists. My 8th studio album is under way and all i can tell you is, its the most important record of my career; not only for the songs themselves but the content and reasons why they were written. I've been inspired to write by the chain of events happening in 2009 than ever before. I won't be negative here, I'll just say some of it has to do with my son being taken from me, which is definitely a difficult situation. The other reason involves finding genuine love and compassion from someone who has become my core inspiration. Now you know how to receive what's about to come yes?

Finally but not least, My dream to become a music producer is taking shape on a more consistent level. This year is full of projects that I feel are very exciting on many levels. Some are challenging while others just come together with content. It's all very rewarding and the results will be worth it. Happiness has consumed my life and I'm ready to embrace it!
